- Abstract
- The monosilylated acyclic phosphazene ligand Me3SiNP(NMe2)2NP(NMe2)2 NH2 (3) has been synthesized and characterized. The reaction of 3 with antimony triacetate, Sb(OOCMe3), in refluxing toluene forms a cyclic phosphazene derivative, [N{P(NMe2)2NH}2Sb(OOCMe)2 (4), which is characterized by elemental analyses, mass, IR and NMR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray structural analysis. Complex 4 crystallizes in the form of a cis and trans isomeric chain in the solid state.
