- Abstract
- Perturbed angular correlation of tracer nuclei is sensitive to the size and orientation of the hyperfine field(s) in ferromagnetic films. We report on PAC measurements for In-111 nuclei in 75 nm Ni films irradiated with 200 keV Xe ions. In particular, we investigated the effects of magnetostriction when bending the samples and of the In-111 tracer implantation itself. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
